Our 2008 Heintz Vineyard Chardonnay was named one of the top 100 wines of 2010 by the San Francisco Chronicle.
“This tiny Sebastopol label doesn't actually use its own vineyard for this serious, focused wine, relying instead on the Heintz site in Occidental. Winemaker Ryan Zepaltas coaxed out a rich lemon-curd profile, with scents of mace, dried hay and Bosc pear. Astoundingly fresh and vibrant, full of mouthwatering apple flavors.” —San Francisco Chronicle, December 2010

Our 2008 Heintz Vineyard Chardonnay and 2008 Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir both were both awarded Silver Medals at the Sonoma Harvest Fair. Our 2008 Bismark Vineyard Zinfandel received a Gold Medal.
For the second year in a row, the San Francisco Chronicle has selected our Suacci Vineyard Pinot Noir as one of the top Pinot’s in the Russian River AVA.
“Ryan Zepaltas crafts this for the Suacci family in a spicy, seductive style. Savory burnt orange, cardamom, cola, a darker leather hint and delicate berry fruit. It's supple but not soft, with great clear flavors and a quiet energy. Delicious, and best of the tasting.” —Jon Bonné
Kens Wine Guide gives our Chard a “Very Good+” rating of 93!
“This yellow colored Chardonnay is very impressive. It opens with a yeasty lemon custard like bouquet. On the palate, this Chard is full bodied, very well balanced, and wonderfully creamy. The flavor profile is a very pleasant blend of lime and lemon with complex hints of banana, pineapple, and light oak. The finish is dry and very refreshing. We felt that this was a terrific Chardonnay that would pair perfectly with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy —Ken”
“The young Suacci vineyard southwest of Sebastopol is on a strong upswing, enjoying its second commercial release made by the talented Ryan Zepaltas from fruit picked in early October and aged in around 40 percent new oak. Deeply stylish, with notes of cola, bright berries, tamarind and fenugreek, and a sappy, weighty palate. Rose and cocoa on the finish provide even more depth. Alluring and powerful.” —Jon Bonné

We call these “Table Hop Dinners” because the Winemakers move tables with each dinner course, enabling them to get to talk with as many attendees as possible. Meet the winemakers and enjoy over 16 acclaimed pinots, perfectly paired with a four course, pinot-focused dinner. Our Winemakers Dinners are unique because we combine the broad exposure to pinot that our festival offers with the chance to “go deep” with a few winemakers whose wines and personalities are paired with each dinner course.
